Residential Services

Creating living situations that are successful in meeting individual’s current needs and helping them achieve their future goals.

With our residential services we are able to help eligible individuals find homes and live independently in our community. Individuals receive skill development training and support in their homes, with services varying depending on need and choice.

Residential HARC Housing

HARC Inc., a non-profit housing corporation, and the Henry County Board of DD work together to provide affordable housing to persons with disabilities in Henry County. The services and supports for individuals living in these homes are coordinated and reviewed by SSA staff. The homes are operated by private providers, and services in these homes are typically funded by the IO (Individual Options) Waiver. Individuals enrolled in the IO Waiver may choose to have their services delivered in these licensed facilities.

Supported Living

Residential supports and services which enable individuals to live in the settings of their choice within the community are coordinated and reviewed by SSA staff. Services generally include assistance with shopping, banking, budgeting, meal preparation, leisure activities, self care, and general supervision. We can also help those individuals with in-home care, whether it be a couple hours a week to full 24 hour care.
